Capturing the Action at CronkyTonk MX

Kids Racing

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to head out to CronkyTonk MX and do something I absolutely love — capture the energy of a live event through photography.

Motocross has a special kind of atmosphere. The rumble of engines, the flying dirt, the split-second decisions made mid-air — every moment is filled with adrenaline. As a photographer, it’s both a challenge and a thrill to try to freeze those moments in time. I wanted to capture not just the speed, but the grit, determination, and excitement on the faces of the riders.

What I enjoy most about events like CronkyTonk MX is the community that surrounds them. Families cheering from the sidelines, kids watching in awe, and riders supporting each other in the pits. It’s more than just racing — it’s a gathering that brings people together.

Photography gives me the chance to share that experience with others. Whether you were at the track or couldn’t make it this time, I hope the photos help tell the story of the day — the intensity, the competition, and the fun that makes motocross so special.

A big thank you to CronkyTonk MX for putting on a fantastic event. I’m looking forward to capturing even more local moments like this, both on the track and throughout the Williamsburg community.

Stay tuned for a gallery of photos from the event — and if you’d like me to capture your next race, game, or community gathering, don’t hesitate to reach out.
